WHERE I COME FROM

Charmaine Wilde moved to Hays County as a newlywed in early 2007 and fell in love with the Texas Hill Country immediately. As she joined her husband's TV news series (Wilde About Texas), she experienced the best our communities have to offer through Wurstfest, Canyon Lake, Lockhart and Luling BBQ, and the San Marcos/Comal/Blanco/Guadalupe River.

A THRIVING CAREER

Charmaine Wilde began her career as a prosecutor at the Hays County District Attorney's Office and worked there under two different DA's. While there she prosecuted misdemeanors, some felonies, CPS cases, and juvenile matters. She handled her own criminal appeals and developed a love for making her community safer through diligent work and thoughtful handling of her cases.

After four years in prosecution, Charmaine Wilde entered the private sector by joining the Law Office of John McGlothlin and managing the probate and criminal practice areas for the firm as well as assisting in civil matters as part of a legal team. In January 2021 she became a partner in the firm, McGlothlin Junkin & Wilde where she works today representing clients in Hays, Comal, and Caldwell counties, as well as other counties in the great state of Texas.

Charmaine has been active the Hays County Republican Party since 2013, and is a member of Hays County Republican Women and Canyon Lake Republican Women.

MISSION STATEMENT

Service, Experience, Diligence.

I am a proven public servant through my work in the community and long standing volunteer work. Judicial elections empower citizens to choose the candidate. As we get back to in person court, our communities need a judge experienced in both criminal and civil law and ready to handle the backlog of cases on our dockets due to the pandemic. This is the time for a diligent public servant who has the experience to get the job done- and get it done right.

I am the right Republican Candidate for the job.
